Mission Statement

Specific student outcomes related to Mission: Students will:

  1. Become actively involved in their learning through discussions and collaboration with peers

  3. ‰Increase self-awareness of preferred learning styles as they produce differentiated products to demonstrate learning targets
  4. ‰Effectively communicate ideas through discussion as well as written expression in each academic area

  4. ‰Clearly model expectations and learning targets as well as provide multiple opportunities for guided and independent practice
  5. ‰Differentiate lesson design and expectations to challenge students at individual levels
  6. ‰Provide students authentic literature experiences incorporating multiple opportunities for written expression
  7. ‰Encourage individual responses and provide students with a variety of ways to answer prompts, questions, and assignments
  8. ‰Support character development through district anti-bully curriculum and responsive classroom activities
  9. Incorporate all available technology resources to enrich learning
  10. ‰Foster a strong home/school partnership through clear, consistent communication and involvement opportunities
